KAZAgenticTech ("we", "us") builds and manages digital systems for small and growing businesses. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English, because that's how we work.

Who we are

KAZAgenticTech is the operator of this website and the controller of the personal information described below. What we collect

When you book a free digital review, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), your business website, company name, industry and anything you write in the message box. We use these to run your review and get back to you.

When you use the KAZ Assistant (the chat widget), we process the messages you type so the assistant can reply. Messages are sent to our server and to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the response. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat; if you share contact details so we can follow up, we'll use them only for that purpose.

When you browse the site, we collect basic usage information through our own first-party analytics: pages and sections you view, buttons you click, questions you ask the assistant, your approximate location (city and country, estimated from your IP address), your IP address, browser type and screen size, and the site that referred you. We use randomly generated identifiers stored in your browser to tell visits apart; these do not identify you personally and are never shared with advertisers.

When you give us your website address (in the booking or review forms), we may run an automated technical check of that publicly available website — for example page speed and accessibility — so we can prepare for your review.

Why we collect it

To respond to you and deliver the free digital review — we need your contact details to do what you've asked us to do (steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract).
To run the KAZ Assistant — processing your messages is necessary to answer them (our legitimate interest in operating the feature you're using).
To understand how the site is used and improve it, and to follow up with visitors who showed interest in our services — our legitimate interest in running and growing our business. We balance this against your privacy by collecting only what's listed above and keeping it on our own systems.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use third-party advertising or social media trackers on this site.

Cookies and local storage

We don't use advertising cookies. If you choose Accept on the small analytics banner when you first visit, the site stores two random identifiers in your browser (one per browser, one per visit) so our own analytics can group your page views into a session. If you choose Decline, nothing is stored and the site works exactly the same. Site administrators receive a login cookie when they sign in to the admin area. You can clear any of these at any time through your browser settings.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and we share only what each one needs:

Anthropic (USA) — processes chat messages to generate KAZ Assistant replies.
Google PageSpeed Insights (USA) — receives the website address you give us, to run the technical check of your site.
ipapi.co (USA) — receives visitor IP addresses to estimate approximate location (city and country).
Our hosting provider — stores the website and its data on our behalf.

Where providers are outside the UK, we rely on their standard contractual safeguards for international transfers. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Booking enquiries are kept while we work with you and for up to 24 months after our last contact, so we can pick things up if you come back. Analytics and chat records are kept for up to 12 months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to: tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, give you a copy, or stop using it (including for follow-ups — just say so and we will). Email hello@kazagentictech.com and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Security

Your information is stored on our own systems, protected by access controls, and only the KAZAgenticTech team can see it. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep the data we collect to a minimum and don't move it anywhere it doesn't need to be.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the homepage.
